Dear Children,

This week we are going to be learning about Chinese New Year. Can anybody find out any interesting facts about this festival to share with their friends?

  1. “2014 is the year of the horse and it’s special because mummys leave money under your pillow and in China it is exciting if the children don’t have lots of money, they get more.”

  2. The Chinese New Year is a 15 day celebration. This year is the year of the horse and people born in this year are said to be a bit like horses: animated, active and energetic they love being in a crowd.
